Vinte e cinco anos de muro, tinta e gente parando pra olhar.
Has travelled to more than 50 countries, painting across 5 continents.
From a volatile, almost ethereal spray, forms are arranged geometrically. Angles overlap, creating a precise, specific and authorial language, charged with the vectors of the different lines graffiti can follow. A contemporary visual writing thus converses with established art discourses, at times flirting with cubism, in other contexts in tune with constructivism or abstractionism.
In every case a distinct signature emerges, flowing beyond the conventional, recalling the freedom of the streets and filled with the colours that make up the signature of Gustavo Gomes, working since 2001.
From the school wall to the brand's panel

How does a mural project start?
With a conversation about the place. Before the drawing comes understanding who walks past every day, what the wall already says and what it could still say.
Do you take on brand and company projects?
Yes. UCS, Tri Hotel, Guerra, Caderode and the Federal Prosecution Office are among those who have called. The process is the same as a street wall, only the brief changes.
How does curating a collective work?
Bringing artists together, finding the space, agreeing what each one will paint, and making sure the result talks to the neighbourhood.
Can the work come inside the house?
It can. Canvas, prints, T-shirts and signed pieces come from the same line as the murals. That is what is in the shop.
